What Choices is
Choices: Stories You Play (Pixelberry Studios) delivers illustrated interactive novels in episodic chapters. Readers spend keys to unlock chapters and diamonds on premium choices that may affect relationships or scenes.
Choices is known for long-running romance and fantasy series with character art on key beats. Official site: choicesstories.com.
What EverBranch is
EverBranch offers text-forward interactive fiction where branching is the core structure—not an occasional premium dialogue option. Readers explore graphs of scenes, backtrack to try alternate paths, and chase multiple endings.
Monetization and reading experience
Choices uses keys and diamonds with optional ad-related rewards in some versions. EverBranch uses free catalog browsing plus credits or an unlimited subscription for premium branches, without an ad-supported reading model.
Readers sensitive to ad interruptions or currency timers may prefer EverBranch's read-at-your-pace CYOA format.
Who should pick which
